A honed or polished surface is achieved by grinding the cut face with successively finer grades of abrasive to remove saw marks from the surface of stone tiles. A polished surface doesn't change the nature of the stone, and cannot by itself protect the material from all the influences that may be encountered in daily use over the years.

Product Information

These polished marble tiles create a stunning impact whether they are used on the floor or walls. The white background colour adds the ‘wow’ factor to any room. The tiles are relatively uniform in background colour, veining and movement. These stone tiles are hard and durable therefore suitable for a wide range of commercial applications.

A polished surface creates a beautiful glossy shine from the natural reflection of the stone’s crystals. The mirror-like shine is accomplished by using progressively finer polishing heads during the polishing process, similar to the way that sandpaper smoothes hardwood furniture. It offers a very formal yet warm appearance.
