A honed or polished surface is achieved by grinding the cut face with successively finer grades of abrasive to remove saw marks from the surface of stone tiles.Some materials such as Sandstone and certain Limestone cannot always be polished and are offered in a honed finish only.

Product Information

Off-white, creamy coloured, these honed tiles are a great addition to any room, whether you use them on the floor or the wall. The slight veining also adds a unique touch. They exhibit limited variation in movement and colouring, they go well with contemporary designs. They are very durable and could be used in high trafficked areas.

A honed surface provides a flat, matte or satin finish creating a more informal and softer look. This finish is created by stopping short of the last stage of polishing. A honed finish shows fewer scratches, and requires very little maintenance. It goes very well with minimalist designs.
